Southern Ontario Sprints Headline Friday Night Show at the Big R

RANSOMVILLE, NY (August 14, 2023) Ransomville Speedway will see the anticipated return of the Southern Ontario Sprints this coming Friday night, with support from Beyer Trucking, Parco Builders, and Clark Rigging. The racing program will feature the Krown Undercoating Modifieds, KiPo Motors Street Stocks, Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks, and the Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman.

The Southern Ontario Sprints (SOS) will see the winner take home a $2,000 (USD) payday as the race will honor several of the New York based SOS pioneers. The qualifying heat races will be paying $500 to win, with the generous support of Airport Collision, Brady Electric, and the MacLeod family. The SOS has been racing across Southern Ontario and Western New York since 1996, and is making its first start at Ransomville in quite some time.

Grandstand admission is $20 for adults, $18 for students and seniors, and kids 11 and under are admitted FREE. Pit Gates on Friday will open at 5pm, grandstands open at 6pm, and racing will get underway at 7:15pm. For those unable to attend in person, catch the action live on Dirt Track Digest TV.
